Morning meeting and share time are two of my favorite parts of our day. Morning meeting kicks off our school day and share time closes out our afternoons. Both of these activities help build our classroom community and help us learn more about each other. One reason morning meeting is considered an important part of our day is that it also helps us to get our brains thinking about the things we will learn about that day. In case you are not familiar with morning meetings the videos on the side show examples of a morning message and some energizers we will use as our activities and brain breaks. Morning meetings consist of four parts: greeting, message, activity, and sharing (I moved the sharing portion to be our final few minutes of the day).
